"My music mentor, Steve Pendulum (a.k.a. Dirty Bass, a.k.a. Hard Funk), once said that this is a track that is great to mix into a set just to throw everyone off. I've always liked that description and thought it fit the track well. Another setting that I've pictured it in is as the soundtrack to a fight scene. I actually worked one out once, and I might even consider posting it if there's enough interest. Regardless of the images that come to mind when you listen to it, though, one thing it will do is make you move.
The biggest reason for this, of course is the intesity of the track. The lead synth that jumps in for the first time at 01:11 was designed just for that. Unlike the previous two tracks, experience and vow my love, I decided to go with a more analog sound for the lead so I programmed it with the WASP generator in OrionPro. In fact, nearly all of the instruments and effects were created with OrionPro synths. One of the ones that was an e-effect original off the XP-30, though is the rumble bass effect that starts the track out and comes back to break up the frenzy in the middle. I've always been fond of that one and really liked how it allowed that abrupt transition between sections of the song. Despite how different the sounds are from each other, they really seemed to come together nicely to bring this track to life and made it feel like the track really wrote itself. Looks like whatever this song touches moves with it."
